Stephanie first became interested in healthcare after a personal loss at an early age that ignited a desire to help and heal others. She started her studies by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The College of Idaho. After working for an agency caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, she decided to pursue nursing and was accepted into the Boise State University nursing program. Later, Stephanie became interested in directing plans of care and treating patients. She pursued her Master of Science in Nursing and was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since then, Stephanie has enjoyed listening to and working with patients to improve their health and knowledge of their diagnoses.

As a native of Boise, Stephanie has cared for patients in the Treasure Valley in a variety of settings. Through her work as a nurse in long-term care, medical cosmetics, and the operating room, and as a nurse practitioner in urgent care, Stephanie has encountered patients with multiple types of conditions and pain. Pain became a personal challenge after a whiplash injury from a motor vehicle accident. From her professional and personal experiences, she has gained an understanding of the impact of pain on daily activities of living, and how it can affect the emotional, physical, and mental health of an individual.
